Axis Building Envelope is an established building envelope design and testing company firm with offices in California and the Northwest. Since our founding, the firm has developed an excellent reputation for providing design services with a specialty in building envelope design, inspection, and testing. We are seeking a qualified candidate for our growing clientele and project base. The qualified candidate should be competent, honest, hardworking, and knowledgeable with a willingness to learn. We seek the following:

Duties:
Working knowledge of building envelope design and construction.
A minimum of 3-years of experience with construction inspection services.
Previous experience as a construction superintendent or construction manager is a plus.
Ability to analyze and understand construction plans, details, and specifications.
Prior experience testing building assemblies is desirable but not required.
Revit/BIM/CAD experience desirable but not required.
Must be able to collaborate and interact with clients and staff.
Strong written skills for report writing.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and/or Bluebeam.
Follow and enforce safety standards.
Work proficiently and safely from scaffolding, on roofs, and in excavations.
Clean driving record. Must pass a background check.
Be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Be able to effectively walk up a minimum of 5 flights of stairs.

This position is responsible for performing onsite fenestration testing on a variety of building products and components. This position will include maintenance & calibration of testing equipment in accordance with ABED’s accredited AAMA/FGIA Field Test Agency (FTA) program.
Duties:
· Set-up/mount and perform standard tests on building products in accordance with referenced specifications and procedures,
· Check calibration status of test equipment prior to testing,
· Analyze test results and write accurate and concise test reports that summarize the test procedures and results,
· Communicate with clients regarding test preparation, procedures, and results,
· Learn test standards and test procedures (e.g., AAMA, ASTM, etc.),
· Maintain tools and equipment; inventory supplies; maintain cleanliness of work area,
· Perform other work as required.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required,
· Must be technically competent to understand and communicate test procedures, specifications, and results,
· Physical ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds,
· Physical ability to sit, stand, crouch, bend, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, push, pull, etc. as required to perform job duties,
· Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision,
· Excellent customer service skills,
· Strong communication skills – both written and oral,
· Good computer skills using Word and Excel,
· Ability to travel as business needs dictate.

Axis Building Envelope, Inc., a provider of waterproofing design, inspection and testing services for the residential, multi-family, mixed-use, commercial, government and industrial construction industry, is looking to fill an outbound business-to-business (B2B) sales and marketing.

What You'll Be Doing:
• You will sell Axis Building Envelope’s solutions and services in an outbound prospecting environment.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities through prospecting activities.
• Conduct 100-150 outreaches per day (calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, etc.)
• Prospecting for new leads via purchased lists, social platforms, trade shows, and the CRM.
• Attending tradeshows, setting up booth and provide information on Company.
• Educating prospects on Axis Building Envelope’s services and capabilities.
• Achieving or exceeding daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduled demonstration goals as defined by management.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Desire to hunt and prospect for sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing
• Sales experience in construction, or other trade-related industry experience preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills
• Self-starter who is highly motivated
• Positive demeanor
• Ability to work as a team member and effectively communicate with different levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results
• Technical aptitude and computer skills essential
• Desire to grow and learn
• Construction or Design knowledge preferred
• Salesforce experience preferred but not required
